William Vandry developed concepts on a product for athletes. The concept originated from research on essential oils, and the Thieves oil story of the plague. Developing combinations of oils for inflammation and pain, Vandry’s wife Chandra added theories to the combination of oils, and together developed St Jude’s Miracle Oil®. The couple has won International awards for their invention, produces and ships the oil to customers around the world, and an article in 2013 was published in Aromatherapy Today magazine on their product.
